City College and 69th Regiment Armory, 1905
View looking north at the turrets of City College, which was housed in the original
Free Academy building on 23rd Street until 1907. To the north of City College,
the 69th Regiment Armory is under construction. The drill shed that extends
along 25th Street is not yet completed, and the steel trusses that support the
roof over this large, open interior space are exposed.
